Pond provided the following design-build services at various locations throughout the Southeast:
Marathon at Doraville, GA
This project involved the design-build of an off-loading lane for ethanol including a 14? tall by 16? thick concrete retaining wall, a concrete containment basin and heavy duty asphalt pavements.
Marathon at Montgomery, AL
This project involved the design-build of an ethanol off-loading area with a concrete containment basin and a lift station. Pond installed a new ethanol off-loading pump, piping and high pipe supports (15? above grade). Pond also installed new piping under the loading rack including control valves and meters for blending of ethanol with gasoline.
Marathon at Tampa, FL
This project involved soils exploration and design of multiple pipe bridges to carry or support 16”, 12”, 10” and 8” gasoline and ethanol product lines to and from storage tanks, truck racks and rail water barge piers.
