Magnolia Springs Dam Auxiliary Spillway Rehabilitation - Magnolia Springs State Park, GA
Pond is currently working on the rehabilitation of a new auxiliary spillway for the GADNR. The current auxiliary spillway within the park has been hydraulically undermined and failed to where it currently cannot operate to attenuate high peak flood flows. This rehabilitation will consist of a new broad-crested polymer weir spillway with a prestress concrete cap to operate and attenuate flood flows. A stabilization outlet basin for the exit channel to mitigate scour is part of the downstream portion of the project.
