Hangar Development and Apron Paving - Harris County Airport, GA

In order to accommodate the growing waiting list of aircraft, the Harris County Board of Commissioners requested plans and specifications be prepared to construct one 10-unit Jumbo T-Hangar and two 100’ x 100’ corporate hangars. The project scope included improving the site drainage; constructing approximately 7,600 square feet of apron/taxilane expansion pavement; relocating existing and installing new electrical and water utilities; and constructing a new 2,500 linear foot access road. Critical phasing and scheduling was required to ensure the contractor met the extremely aggressive schedule required by the Commission. In addition to design services, the Pond Team performed construction administration and resident inspection services.
