Pond provided comprehensive A/E services including a site master plan and design for a new, state-of-the-art, Police Training Complex serving Gwinnett County. One of the fastest growing counties in the United States, Gwinnett County was in need of a unique training center capable of developing the skills of their large Police force. The Training Complex is composed of three major components: a Classroom Training Building, an Indoor Firing Range, and a 17 acre Driver Training Course. Each component utilizes innovative, cutting edge technology to create a dynamic training atmosphere. The cornerstone of the Police Training Complex is the Training Building. Composed of 30,000 square feet of training space, this facility provides various areas for multiple forms of instruction.

Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services Opens
Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services opened the first phase of their new $5 million state-of-the-art training center on December 10. “I don’t think you could find a better facility anywhere in the United States,” Retired Cherokee County Fire Chief and current Cherokee County District 2 Commissioner Raymond Gunnin said. Pond & Company completed the master plan and schematic design for the full build-out of the 14.2-acre site.
