FedEx West Ramp Hydrant System - Memphis International Airport, TN

Pond provided design and construction administration services including isolation valve pits, a new pipeline to connect the new 24” fuel supply lines to the existing hydrant loop piping located under the parking ramp, motor actuators and associated controls for system isolation and localization, emergency fuel shut off system (EFSO), hydrant control valves, and pneumatic equipment connections in each of the 27 on-apron hydrant pits. Several provisions were made for adaptability for future expansion of the hydrant fuel system, control system and EFSO systems.
