Columbus Fire Station No. 9 - Columbus, GA

Pond completed the three bay fire station #9 for the City of Columbus. A roughly 1,000 sf new roadway that provides access to the complex and facilitates water, sanitary and fiber-optic services. The storm sewer services are detained and water quality is treated prior to being released into the adjacent creek. The building is a load bearing masonry cavity wall system on continuous concrete footings, concrete slab-on-grade with a standing seam metal roof system. Although LEED Accreditation was initially required, it appears that the building may ultimately qualify for LEED Silver.
