Cartersville Gas Department Headquarters - Cartersville, GA

As the City of Cartersville grew, so did its need for infrastructure. To better serve this increased need, Cartersville’s gas department wanted to consolidate their organizational resources under one roof. Cartersville Gas engaged Pond to provide design for a new gas and fueling operations headquarters, featuring an administrative office building and storage area, a separate storage building and 4-dispenser fuel station for city vehicles and equipment. The project also includes a recreational passive park and 5-acre pond and walking trail for the City of Cartersville.

The Gas Department headquarters is 30,000 SF and includes administrative offices, an operations conference room, a training room, a kitchen, locker room and shower facilities, a storage and stock room, a warehouse-style garage with four pull-through equipment parking bays, and a welding shop. The storage facility is approximately 10,500 SF, and the fuel island has 12,000 gallon fuel tanks.
