Campus Master Plan - Lanier Technical College - Winder, GA

Pond was contracted by the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) to develop a Master Plan for Lanier Technical College (LTC), on a 114 acre property parcel in Winder, GA. Pond led a Steering Committee (comprised of representatives from TCSG, LTC, and the Barrow County Board of Education) to consensus over a three month period.

The Master Plan purposed 176,000 square feet of institutional and related spaces for LTC to be constructed over three phases. The plan also included siting of a Career Academy, Multi-Purpose Facility, Elementary and Middle school for Barrow County School System. Pond helped to create a vision for the campus; one that is unique to Barrow County, encourages shared uses of facilities, and promotes sustainable design concept

The 55,000sf addition to The Lee Hall College of Architecture at Clemson University received the 2013 AIA Honor Award for Architecture. Pond & Company’s Landscape Architecture group played an integral role in creating this energy-efficient addition.
