Bicycle Transportation & Pedestrian Study - Forsyth County, GA

Pond developed a new Bike & Pedestrian plan through a series of logical, realistic and implementation-oriented goals and objectives based on an analysis and evaluation of certain standards never before used in the region. Using a new template developed by ARC, the goals provided a good template for Pond & Company’s approach to Forsyth County’s Plan Update and enabled the County to improve upon their existing effort. Pond & Company undertook a level of service analysis for bicyclists and pedestrians that did not lose sight of GDOT’s policy to fund bike and pedestrian improvements on a state route if an adopted local plan calls for it.
