I-95 Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge - Connecticut DOT

This project included the construction of the I-95 signature bridge over the Quinnipiac River. This is the first “extradosed” or modified cable-stay bridge constructed in the US. Tasks included the re-design of all cross-frames and top lateral bracing members for the steel box alternate, performing QA/QC for bridge plans, and providing construction coordination between designers, contractors and ConnDOT.
