JACKSONVILLE, Florida – (11.26.18) – Pond, an industry leader in engineering, planning, architecture, and construction services, is pleased to announce the addition of Senior Scientist/Project Manager Tammy Mayer to our Jacksonville South office.
Mayer brings over 30 years of diverse environmental experience including team leadership, environmental permitting, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation, environmental studies, ecological restoration and deep experience in cross-functional working relationships with clients, inter-disciplinary teams and regulators.
Her expertise in permitting and mitigation design is derived from working on hundreds of projects in the southeastern United States. Mayer’s new position at Pond will allow her to incorporate her board experiences to environmental permitting and project coordination for environmental services clients in Florida, regionally and nationally.

Her robust resume, skill set and regulatory network is an asset for Pond’s Environmental Services clients in the southeastern region and nationally,” said Environmental Program Manager Stephen Bailey.
Mayer received degrees in Aquaculture and Oceanographic Technology from the Florida Institute of Technology. She has a strong background in ecological investigations and environmental services and experience in environmental consulting capabilities from wetland jurisdictional determinations, habitat assessments, and permit coordination to environmental, health and safety implementation. Mayer also has significant experience with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), federal agencies, energy companies, non-governmental organizations and private sector clients.
