These seven individuals are leaders in their industries and within their communities and embody Pond’s dedication to providing clients with exceptional customer service and innovative solutions.
Stephen Bailey, PWS, is the Program Director of Pond’s Environmental Services group. Since joining Pond, Stephen has quickly built a robust team of ecologists, NEPA professionals, environmental engineers and GIS specialists. Under Stephen’s leadership, this program has excelled in supporting Pond’s clients across the Southeast. Bailey is a Professional Wetland Scientist and a graduate of the Institute for Georgia Environmental Leadership. He is a member of the Georgia Association of Environmental Professionals, Southeastern Ecological Practitioners, the National Association of Environmental Professionals and the Society of Wetland Scientists.
Pam Gower has nearly 30 years of experience in human resources management for corporate environments. As Pond continues to grow, Pam will be instrumental in ensuring the firm attracts and retains top talent to serve its clients. In addition to talent sourcing and engagement, Pam excels at performance, organizational development, regulatory and reporting compliance, and strategic planning. She serves as the chair of the Gwinnett Employers Committee and is a member of Southwest Gwinnett Employment Working Group and Society for Human Resource Management.
Mike Jeffreys, PMP, has over 30 years of international experience in the fueling industry and leads Pond’s Fuels Maintenance and Construction program. His areas of expertise include program and project management of fuel system design-build, construction and installation of fuel equipment and systems, troubleshooting and commissioning for complex systems and Pond’s clients around the world. Jeffreys oversees Pond’s dedicated team serving strategic military locations in the US and around the globe through multiple fuels maintenance, repair and construction contracts with the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Huntsville, USACE Omaha, USACE Wiesbaden, and NAVFAC EXWC.
Pond’s Program Director for Construction services, Ben Moore has been responsible for Pond’s construction services in the industrial marketplace with a specific emphasis on complex design-build facilities. With his 20+ years of in-depth knowledge and expertise in the design and construction of industrial facilities, Moore works with current and new manufacturing clients to ensure the Pond team delivers consistent, quality service in procurement, engineering and construction. Moore has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University and experience in managing project schedule and budget for design, procurement, and construction phases for large design-build projects and facilities.
Andrew Swift, PE, serves as Pond’s Civil Discipline Director. He has over 16 years of civil engineering experience and received his Bachelor of Science degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Andrew actively manages the civil engineering staff and provides oversight of the civil engineering projects. Swift has engineering design and construction experience in many areas, including commercial, industrial, institutional, residential, and military developments, as well as experience in project management, client management, and permit coordination with local, state, and federal agencies.
Hugh Weaver, PE, has over 30 years of experience in the aerospace/aviation industry, and has been involved in the planning, strategic development and capital growth improvement programs for airports across the nation and around the world. His expertise extends to all facets of the engineering design experience on both the airside and landside of the facility. Weaver has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University.
As Pond’s Transportation Program Director, Tom Ziegler, PE, is responsible for providing excellent service to our clients and expanding the transportation practice throughout the southeast. Ziegler is a professional engineer with over 35 years of experience serving state, county, and municipal transportation departments. Ziegler holds a Master of Business Administration from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University. He has served in many leadership roles, including as President of the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) Georgia Section, Member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), and Member of ASHE National Board. Ziegler currently serves on the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Georgia Procurement Committee and is a Coordinator for the their Transportation Forum.
