Benefits + Wellness

Pond offers competitive salaries, incentive pay, a comprehensive benefits package, flexible/compressed scheduling, and more.

Pond offers employees benefits packages which equals or exceeds the industry norm.

Employees are eligible for the following benefits offered beginning the first day of the month coinciding with or following hire date.

Healthcare & Life Insurance

Our competitive healthcare plan options includes medical, Rx, dental, short-term and long-term disability coverage as well as life insurance. You’ll enjoy no out-of-pocket premium cost for your individual insurance coverage, which is conveniently effective the first of the month following your start date. We also offer employees the option to expand their life insurance to better provide for their personal financial needs.

Wellness Program & Health Club Membership

We want our employees to be healthy and happy. At Pond, you can take advantage of our wellness program in several ways to best suit your personal needs. Employees can take advantage of the membership reimbursement program, which reimburses you up to $420 per year for a health club membership at the club of your choice.

The plan is flexible for your convenience – you can visit any area fitness facilities and choose the one that best suits your needs. Additionally, our employees enjoy access to a staff of registered nurses, dietitians, personal trainers and physical therapists through an annual wellness coaching program designed to promote well behavior for our employees and their families.

Tax Savings and Retirement Planning Benefits

Our various tax and retirement savings benefits are designed to provide our employees with a variety of options to help with financial management specific to the needs of their families.

401(K) Retirement Plan

Pond provides a 401(K) safe harbor plan for its employees currently through Wells Fargo. This qualified retirement plan offers both Traditional 401(k) and Roth 401(k) contribution options. The only requirement for eligibility is that the employee be full-time and be 21 years of age. The employee may contribute a percentage of their salary up to the annual maximum set by the IRS.

Employee contributions between 1% – 4% of compensation will earn a 100% company match. The company may, at its own discretion, make a profit sharing match at the end of each fiscal year. You may enter the plan on the first entrance date following your hire date. Plan entrance dates are quarterly – January 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1.

Section 125 Cafeteria Plan

Employees may pay for medical & dental insurance premiums with pre-tax dollars by enrolling in the Section 125 plan.

Dependent Care Account

This program allows employees to reimburse themselves for dependent or childcare with tax free dollars.

Medical Reimbursement Plan

Employees may be reimbursed with tax-free dollars for medical, dental, vision and health maintenance expenses that are not covered under insurance by enrolling in the plan.

Health Savings Account

Pond provides a Health Savings Account through HSABank. Employees who elect participation in the Qualified High-Deductible plan (noted above under Medical) are eligible to defer money for unreimbursed medical expenses into a company sponsored interest earning savings account on a pre-tax basis.

Georgia’s Own Credit Union

Pond employees have the option of banking with Georgia Telco. Some features of the credit union include interest checking accounts, savings accounts, direct deposit, IRA’s, CD’s, home banking, internet bill pay, telephone access, ATM, vehicle loans, home equity loans, mortgage loans, VISA credit cards and cost saving opportunities.

Sick Time

Sick time accrues at 6 2/3 hours per month (10 days per year). The maximum accrual permitted is 160 hours. Unused sick time at year-end may be carried over. Accrued sick time is not paid at termination.

Vacation time is accrued at 6 2/3 hours per month (10 days per year). Accrued vacation may be taken with supervisor approval. After 5 years of employment, vacation is accrued at 10 hours per month (15 days per year). A maximum of 40 hours may be carried over at year-end. Accrued vacation time is paid upon termination after six months of employment.

Flex Time

Core hours are between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. Employees may schedule their arrival and departure times to suit their personal needs as long as a full 8 hour work day and core hours are maintained. Of course, business needs will at times dictate different hours and professional staff members are expected to spend the time required to get the job done.

Compressed Schedule

Employees compress ten work days over two work weeks (80 hours) into nine work days over two work weeks (still maintaining 80 hours). Approved schedules are to remain consistent on an ongoing basis and must be coordinated among the team to maintain productivity such that all employees within a department / team are not out on the same day.

Personal Time

Salaried personnel may accrue personal time up to 40 hours for overtime work. Eight hours personal time is the maximum to be used at one time, unless the supervisor has approved additional hours. Accumulated personal time is not paid at termination.
