Velocity Midstream, Ohio Transmission Pipeline FEED Study - OH

Pond acted as Project Manager and Lead Engineer in this project to develop multiple routes, a permitting plan and an overall project budget for a proposed 250 mile natural gas liquids (NGL) pipeline system to link multiple gathering locations into the Kinder Morgan Cochin Pipeline. Pond developed hydraulics and pump station layouts and led multiple sub-consultants for environmental planning and land acquisition to complete a detailed FEED study including cost estimate, schedule, and project execution plan. The project included route selection, conceptual pump station designs, land acquisition strategy, and environmental/permitting compliance plan.

The project required an aggressive schedule to complete the FEED study to allow the client to initiate the project prior to seasonal restrictions for land clearing. Pond completed the study ahead of schedule and provided an opportunity for the client and end user to increase economic value of the project. Fee: $180,000
