			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>ATLANTA, GA (02.21.2012) &#8211; Todd Eldridge recently joined Pond &#038; Company as Program Manager &#8211; Midstream Markets. In his new position, Eldridge will focus on growing the commercial midstream markets for petroleum storage and pipeline distribution.</p>
<p>Eldridge brings more than 13 years multi-discipline experience in the petroleum industry in concept development, program management and design. He’s completed more than 250 petroleum projects for Fortune 500 companies and independent operators throughout the world, dealing in a wide variety of terminal expansion and modification projects including tank storage expansion, ethanol and biodiesel implementation, rail and load rack systems and marine receipt and bunkering.</p>
<p><em>“As an industry leader in military and commercial fuel storage and distribution system design, we’re able to provide our clients with full-service solutions for practically any type of fuels project. Bringing Todd into the mix will now enable us to offer commercial midstream expertise to provide a more complete solution in commercial markets worldwide. <p>Eldridge received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Mercer University. SEC’s Founder and President, Tonya Simmons, PE, will join Pond as Client Manager, opening their Tampa, FL office.</p>
<p>The addition of SEC to POND brings a strong resume of water resources and utility management projects, as well as new capabilities that are important to POND’s continued growth in the municipal water market and providing enhanced water infrastructure solutions.  </p>

<p>Simmons is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a BS in Civil Engineering and West Virginia University with a Masters in Civil Engineering. She is a registered Professional Engineer with more than 15 years of environmental engineering, water resources and utility management consulting experience. Simmons currently serves as the Chair of the Water Quality and Resources Division of the Florida Section of the American Water Works Association (FSAWWA) and previously served as the Vice Chair of the Water Use Efficiency Division of FSAWWA. One of her notable accomplishments was the development of Florida’s Comprehensive Water Conservation Program including the development of best management practices and performance metrics, as well as design and deployment of the nation’s first web-based water conservation planning and tracking tool. Simmons has directed progressive water supply programs for clients including aquifer storage and recovery, reclaimed water, brackish groundwater supply, desalination and water conservation; and, has assisted clients in obtaining funding and financing to provide solutions to their aging water infrastructure challenges. She is a contributor to trade publications, and is a recognized industry leader in water conservation and drought management strategies.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>ATLANTA, GA (01.12.2012) &#8211; Tim Gaffney, PE, LEED AP recently joined Pond &#038; Company as Vice President &#8211; <em>Federal Markets, Mid-Atlantic/Northeast region</em>. In his new position, Gaffney will focus on growing relationships with Department of Defense clients in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions, working out of Pond’s Norfolk, VA office. </p>
<p>Gaffney brings more than 36 years experience in both private and public sector, as well as extensive experience with both the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Naval Facilities Engineering Command. In his last assignment in the Air Force, he was the Director of Facilities and Utilities at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, the largest installation in the DoD. In this capacity, Gaffney led 1,100 military and civilian personnel involved in repair, maintenance, construction and operation of 3,450 facilities worth $38.7 billion.  </p>
<p><em>“Tim is a dynamic individual, possessing the right combination of experience, leadership, technical ability and relationships to be the perfect fit to grow Pond’s federal markets in the region. We have a number of exciting projects in house serving clients in the municipal, military and corporate/aviation segments. Our Structural Engineers work alongside Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Fire Protection and CAD teams providing building systems design to our Program Managers delivering comprehensive design consulting and project management services. With some clients we go further in providing design-to-build solutions utilizing our in-house Construction Management team. </p>
<p>Requirements</p>
<p>0-5 years experience as a Structural Engineer in a consulting environment, with experience designing government/military facilities. Co-op experience is preferred.  Candidates must have a BS in Structural Engineering as a minimum. An MS in Structural Engineering is preferred. An EIT is mandatory. The selected candidate must have a strong understanding of applied engineering calculations, excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language, and the ability to work with people. Considerations must be proficient in MS Office products. Experience in AutoCAD, Revit, RAM Structural System, Risa 2D, Risa 3D, Enercalc, and / or Tedds is preferred.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>ATLANTA, GA (10.28.2011) &#8211; Benjamin (Ben) Coe, PE, LEED AP recently joined Pond &#038; Company as Director of Mechanical Engineering. In his new position, Coe will lead Pond’s Mechanical Engineering group, focusing on sustainability and helping to grow the firm’s mission critical business.</p>
<p>Coe brings more than 33 years experience in the consulting engineering field with expertise in the mission critical arena, including design of numerous Tier 3 and above data center facilities, as well as health care, laboratory animal research, industrial, and broadcast facilities up to $ 400 M. Coe is an industry leader and frequent speaker on mechanical cooling concepts, sustainable design, LEED and energy-efficiency. </p>

<p>Coe received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a registered engineer in 13 states and a member of 7&#215;24, ASHRAE, BCA, USGBC, IFMA, GAPPA, ASHE, and Georgia Society of Healthcare Engineers. He is a LEED Accredited Professional (AP) and the engineer of record on numerous LEED Certified Projects including 2 Gold level certified projects.  </p>
