We are currently in need of an experienced Structural Engineer to join our winning design team located in our Atlanta corporate office. We have a number of exciting projects in house serving clients in the municipal, military and corporate segments. Our structural engineers work alongside mechanical, electrical and CAD teams providing building systems design to our program managers providing comprehensive design consulting and project management services. With some clients we go further in providing design/build solutions utilizing our in-house construction management team.
Requirements
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 5 years experience, preferably in a consulting environment. EIT required, PE preferred. Candidates must have a BS in Structural Engineering with a proven understanding of applied engineering calculations. Engineering experience should include: vertical design, preferably in facilities and government buildings. Candidates must have a BS in Electrical Engineering with a proven understanding of applied engineering calculations. Lighting and power distribution experience is required; controls experience is desired. ■ Cathodic Protection/Corrosion Technologist
Qualified candidates must have minimum of 3-5 years field experience in cathodic protection testing and troubleshooting. Preferable experience would include petroleum and/or military systems work experience. Candidate must be a self-starter who can operate with minimal supervision. This position requires the ability to perform on-site trouble-shooting and identification of minor repairs. 60%-70% travel required. NACE-certification as CPI or CPII required. Candidates who have obtained an AS degree in related fields or Operator Qualification are a plus. Considerations must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; and be authorized to work in the US. Willingness to relocate to Atlanta, GA area is preferred.
